About Ru
Iām Ru, an Integrative Psychotherapist. Psychotherapy supports both the processing of distressing experiences and the development of self-actualisation and insight. It offers a space to explore the inner world and gain clarity on how to engage with life.
My approach is grounded in attachment and developmental perspectives, as well as systems and psychodynamic theories. I am guided by trauma-informed and somatic principles, recognising that our bodies hold valuable insights into our inner experiences.
I also have a background as a Sex & Consent Educator, which brings an added dimension to the therapeutic work, particularly in exploring sexuality and sexual issues. Additionally, I have experience working with LGBTIQA+ individuals, including those who exist outside gender binaries.
